La Cañada Golf Club is located in the heart of the Costa del Sol, within the Sotogrande Urbanization, a true paradise for lovers of tranquility, quality of life and sports tourism.

In 1982 it was founded as a private, non-profit sports association, whose main objective is the promotion of the sport of Golf, and that through administrative concession manages the first public golf course in Spain, “the Municipal Golf Course La Cañada”.

Designed by two of the best golf designers that have existed in the history of this sport; the first nine holes by David Thomas and the second nine holes by the famous Robert Trent Jones Senior.

The tradition of this course is intimately linked to that of children’s golf. With more than 300 students, our Municipal Golf School is rated as one of the most important in Spain.

We are also pioneers in Adapted Golf, with a School that has more than 60 disabled students, who receive classes every week.
